biography

Originally from Ohio, Katy grew up and currently resides in Cobb County.  She studied accounting at DeKalb State College.   Katy joined the firm in 1997 as a legal secretary with a background in accounting, business management, insurance and IT.    She transitioned into a management role after two years with the firm.  In her more than twenty years with the firm, she has played an integral role in the expansive growth of the firm.   As Chief Operating Officer, she continues to oversee daily operations of the firm including human resources, financial analysis, budgeting/planning, billing, and much more.   Katy is a member of the ALA (Association of Legal Administrators) and the Atlanta Chapter of the ALA.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, traveling, concerts, and ballroom dancing.
