biography

Mr. O’Malley joined the firm in 2018 and practices in the areas of insurance defense and civil litigation. Before joining the firm, he served as a trial prosecutor for the Douglas County Solicitor-General and an appellate prosecutor for the Fulton County District Attorney. Mr. O’Malley has conducted jury trials, submitted briefs to the Georgia Court of Appeals, and won cases before the Georgia Supreme Court.

Mr. O’Malley graduated summa cum laude from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, where he studied English, Psychology, and Political Science. He received his juris doctor from Emory University School of Law, where he worked as the Executive Editor for the Emory International Law Review’s Recent Developments segment.

In his spare time, Mr. O’Malley enjoys drawing, running, and enjoying the outdoors with his husband and their two dogs.
