Mr. Prater joined the firm in 2019 and practices in the areas of insurance defense and motor vehicle liability. His legal career began in 2012 when he earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Athens Technical College. Working as a paralegal for several years in Athens, Georgia provided valuable skills and experience in the civil litigation process. He returned to school in 2015, graduating cum laude from the Georgia State University College of Law.  Before joining the firm, Mr. Prater was a law clerk for the Honorable B. Chan Caudell in the Mountain Circuit.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing music with friends, exploring hiking trails throughout the state, and watching Braves baseball.
